Disney Springs is going to host a great new special event throughout this month and it will be called “Art in August.” The event will take place on weekends and allow Guests to see some great artwork and also meet their favorite Disney artists.
From Aug. 4-28, 2016, “Art in August” will take place each weekend from Thursday through Sunday. Not only will there be Disney artists but some local artists as well who will show all of their works in different mediums.
This is almost a bit of a replacement for the awesome Festival of the Masters that would happen around this time each year and was ended in 2014.
Throughout Disney Springs Marketplace, there will be tents set up where guests can find artists such as Darren Wilson and Don “Ducky Williams” while also finding stationary from Boiled Books, Precious Moments Dolls from designer Linda Rick, and handmade jewelry from Jorta.
Other Disney artists appearing throughout the month at “Art in August” will be Greg McCullough, William Silvers, Jasmine Becket-Griffith, and Joe Kaminski.
