Early on Wednesday morning, Disney released the first teaser trailer for the Tim Burton live-action remake of Dumbo, and well…prepare to have your heart melted.
While it is considered a remake, of sorts, the story has been changed up a little bit to go along with it being live-action. Colin Farrell plays the role of former circus star Holt Farrier who is hired by circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) to look after a newborn elephant with oversized ears.
Along with his children Milly (Nico Parker) and Joe (Finley Hobbins), Farrier learns that the young elephant named Dumbo can actually fly. This brings about major changes for the circus and gets it back into the spotlight, but it also brings about the attention of a savvy businessman named V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton).
Vandevere wants to bring a new show to the people and show them what “Dreamland” is all about, but there are darker things lurking underneath the big top.
Dumbo is directed by Tim Burton and also stars Eva Green as Colette Marchant along with a cast of many others. It won’t be too long now until you can also see an elephant fly as Dumbo is set to soar into theaters on March 29, 2019.
