Last week, we learned that the current Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It Street Party would be coming to an end later this year, but we’ve now learned why that is happening. It is going to have a new version and Disney will want you to MousekeDance it!
Beginning on Jan. 18, 2019, the “Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party” will begin at Magic Kingdom. It will pay tribute to Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse as they’re joined by friends such as Goofy, Max, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Chip and Dale, and many more.
Who wouldn’t want to join live singers and Disney characters to enjoy new arrangements of classic Mickey Mouse Club songs?
From Jan. 18 through Sept. 30, 2019, there will be many other great celebrations on Main Street U.S.A. as well.
The Dapper Dans and other entertainers on Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom Park will sing songs in honor of Mickey and Minnie. The piano player at Casey’s Corner will also belt out some of the most beloved Mickey Mouse favorites.
Look for special Mickey- and Minnie-themed merchandise and food at Magic Kingdom Park to make this party complete.
The final run for the current Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It! Street Party is going to take place on Dec. 1, 2018. After that, the new Limited Time Magic version with MousekeDance it will begin in January.
