The dates are now set for the taping of the Disney Christmas Day Parade and holiday specials for 2018. Once again, the specials will be taped in early to mid-November for airings later that month and on Christmas Day.
The dates for this year’s taping of the ABC Holiday Specials will happen at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World from November 7-11, 2018. As always, dates are subject to change and it is not yet known exactly what will be taped on which specific days.
It is also not known as to which celebrities will be hosting and which musical acts will appear to perform.
Something that is known is that the Christmas Day parade will once again be filmed entirely at Disneyland Resort. No portion of the actual parade will be filmed at Walt Disney World, but the majority of the segments and musical performances will be filmed in Orlando.
The parade and holiday specials are not something that guests can purchase tickets to attend. The crowd usually consists of Cast Members and their families while guests may be able to be a part of it, depending on the day and attendance.
