New Details And Character Wraps Revealed For Disney Skyliner (Photos And Video)

Last week, there were pictures and video of the first gondola cabins on the wires of the Disney Skyliner, and testing is continuing. Now, Disney has revealed more details including images of more of the gondola cabin wraps that guests will be able to ride in.

We already knew that the gondolas would be wrapped in Disney characters to allow guests to travel in magical style. As you can see in the image above, there will be representations from Disney, Pixar, Lucasfilm, Marvel, and more.

Here are some of the themed gondolas that will be part of the system include:

  • Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Chip & Dale
  • Beauty and the Beast
  • Frozen
  • Lilo & Stitch
  • Moana
  • Coco
  • Goofy, Pete, Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow
  • Finding Dory
  • The Haunted Mansion
  • Monsters, Inc.
  • Peter Pan
  • The Princess and the Frog
  • Ralph Breaks The Internet
  • Pirates of the Caribbean
  • Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
  • Zootopia
  • Ratatouille

As of this time, there is still no exact opening date for the Disney Skyliner, but it is scheduled to begin operating in the fall of this year.

The Skyliner will have loading and unloading zones in two parks and four resorts.

  • Epcot – Near International Gateway entrance
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios – Near main entrance

Resorts

  • Disney’s Art of Animation Resort – Dual loading zone
  • Disney’s Pop Century Resort – Dual loading zone
  • Disney’s Riviera Resort – New DVC resort being built
  • Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
