It may not be Friday the 13th, but Saturday will certainly be a spooky day at Magic Kingdom for all guests. On Saturday, April 13, 2019, head on into Liberty Square to enjoy some spooktacular good times and they’re all themed around the Haunted Mansion.
In celebration of the Haunted Mansion becoming the 13th Walt Disney World attraction with on-ride PhotoPass, Magic Kingdom is doing something special. If you want to catch all of the fun, though, you will need to spend the day around the haunted location.
At 9 a.m., a PhotoPass photographer will be near the exit of Haunted Mansion for the pics with the “Tomb Sweet Tomb” sign. It will only be available during the day and there will be a fun MagicShot as well.
Another PhotoPass photographer near the hearse will let you stand next to the Hitchhiking Ghosts while a third will be near the Liberty Square Riverboat to help you appear with the Hatbox Ghost. These photo ops will be available throughout the day and evening.
As evening falls, head back toward the Haunted Mansion and find the PhotoPass photographer outside of Memento Mori. Special MagicShots will be available in the nighttime with Mickey Mouse orbs and even a prop version of the caretaker’s lantern.
While you’re near Memento Mori, head into the shop for a special 8-inch x 10-inch lenticular image which will be the special price of $13.13 plus tax, but that is only for April 13, 2019.
If you haven’t had enough fun with all of that Haunted Mansion enjoyment, head over to the Liberty Square Market for the “Midnight Fright Delight browkie” which will cost $6.99 plus tax.
Finally, the Cadaver Dans ghostly quartet will make a special appearance, conjuring up scary-good tunes after the sun goes down in Liberty Square.
