Walt Disney World is giving the gift of more time to its guests this holiday season with extended park hours at a number of its parks. Due to the expected busy times coming with Christmas, Disney’s Animal Kingdom has extended hours in both December of 2019 and January of 2020.
Guests should continue to check the official Walt Disney World park hours as they are subject to change at anytime and for any reason.
Here are the park hour changes which have recently been made. Make sure to check for extensions in both the morning and evenings.
December 2019
- December 22, 24-25 – Animal Kingdom now closing at 9 p.m.
- December 23, 26-28 – Animal Kingdom opening at 8 a.m. and closing at 9 p.m.
- December 29-30 – Animal Kingdom opening at 8 a.m. and closing at 11 p.m.
- December 31 – Animal Kingdom closing at 12 a.m.
January 2020
- January 1 – Animal Kingdom closing at 9 p.m.
- January 2-4 – Animal Kingdom opening at 8 a.m. and closing at 9 p.m.
