Changes are coming for those traveling to Walt Disney World Resort in 2021. The Magical Extras packet and complimentary luggage tags that come with a vacation package are no longer being mailed out, and can be picked up at your resort.
The information released by Disney on Tuesday details that these changes will begin on January 1, 2021.
As of that date, guests will be able to pick up their Walt Disney Travel Company Magical Extras packet and souvenir luggage tags at their resort hotel. Guests can head to the front desk at anytime during their stay to retrieve them.
Luggage tags and the Magical Extras packets will no longer arrive in the mail.
This goes along with the previous announcement that MagicBands will no longer be complimentary as of January 1, 2021.

Just another reason Disney is becoming less and less MAGICAL. Getting less for more $$$$. If you don’t get the magical express packet before you leave on the trip how do you get the bus info? Like the transfer
This has nothing to do with Disney Magical Express. That is entirely separate from what is detailed in this article. Also, Magical Express has not been sending out luggage tags since the parks reopened in July, and guests have had to get their own baggage and bring it to the bus to keep contact at a minimum.
