Last year, it was revealed that the France pavilion in Epcot was going to receive some enhancement which include a Beauty and the Beast sing-along. Now, we know when that refurbishment is set to start as the theater in France, and Impressions de France, will be closing this week for things to begin.
On October 2, 2019, the Palais du Cinema will be closing for a period of time as enhancements are made during a refurbishment. That does mean that Impressions de France will be unavailable at this time as the theater prepares for the Beauty and the Beast sing-along coming sometime early next year.
It is also known that there will be a new digital projection system added to the theater along with new exhibits in the lobby.
While an exact reopening date is not yet known, the new sing-along is expected to start in January.
Please note that dates are subject to change and can without any notice. These dates are officially listed on Walt Disney World’s refurbishment schedule, but that does not mean they can’t possibly change.
