The Main Street Confectionery will not be the place to satisfy your sweet tooth for nearly two months soon. The snack and treat location in Magic Kingdom will soon close for a lengthy refurbishment, but there will be a temporary location set up nearby.
The Confectionery will close on March 29, 2021, to begin its refurbishment. It will be closed until at least May 22, 2021, but that is not totally set in stone. It is possible that the refurbishment could possibly last longer and into the summer.
During its closure, the Main Street Cinema next door will serve as a temporary location. The Cinema will close its doors from March 22 – 28, 2021, as it prepares to become the treat supplier of Main Street U.S.A.
It is not known how extensive the offerings will be in the temporary location, but it won’t likely be more than pre-packaged treats.
Please note that dates are subject to change and can without any notice. These dates are officially listed on Walt Disney World’s refurbishment schedule, but that does not mean they can’t possibly change.
