The wildest ride in the wilderness is taking a short break as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is currently closed for refurbishment.
As of Monday, June 7, 2021, the wild mine train ride in Magic Kingdom is not operating. Guests won’t have to be without it long, though, as it is set to reopen in just a couple of weeks.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is set to be closed through June 12, and it is tentatively scheduled to reopen to guests on June 13, 2021.
Please note that dates are subject to change and can without any notice. These dates are officially listed on Walt Disney World’s refurbishment schedule, but that does not mean they can’t possibly change.
