The world lost a great man and artist on Friday, April 6, 2012 as world renowned painter Thomas Kinkade passed away at his home in Los Gatos. He was 54 years old.
His family issued a statement regarding his death which appeared to be from natural causes.
“Thom provided a wonderful life for his family,” his wife, Nanette, said in a statement. “We are shocked and saddened by his death.”
Kinkade’s name is a one that everyone knows and to show just how relevant he is; his paintings are hanging in an estimated one out of every twenty homes in the United States.
