It was just over a week ago that a Disney Magical Express (operated by Mears) bus hit a vehicle from behind and causing one fatality. Now, on Aug. 22, 2013, there has now been yet another Disney bus accident on property, but it doesn’t appear to be nearly as serious.
Around 3:00 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, a bus going to Disney’s Animal Kingdom and a guest vehicle were involved in a traffic accident.
There were numerous police vehicles, Disney security vehicles, fire trucks, and an ambulance on the scene as well.
The Disney bus appeared to have hit the small SUV and caused it to spin around and face in the opposite direction of traffic.
The accident happened right outside the HESS gas station right outside of the Magic Kingdom parking area. As you can see by the pics below, traffic was flowly easily past the scene of the accident.
It is not known if there were any injuries, but some people were sitting on the ground and that is evident in some of the shots taken.
It’s early so not all is known as to how this accident happened or who it was the fault of, but that makes two bus accidents on Disney property in the course of a week.

This is 1 Disney bus crash. Last week was bus that was not owned or operated by Disney. That bus was owned by Mears. Get your facts straight you poor excuse for a reporter
Also last weeks bus crash did not hit a guest vehicle , but rather hit and killed a Disney Cast member
Max, the first line states that it was a Mears bus, so what’s your beef? To most people, a bus with a Disney logo and running guests to and from Disney is a Disney bus. No need to name-call. If you don’t like this page, go read your Disney news somewhere else.
And John, the reports I saw did not indicate that it was a CM, so thank you for adding that. This article simply states that the bus hit a vehicle, not who was driving.
I too just saw that it was a Cast Member once John said it. Had not heard that and upon researching, I found it but only in one or two reports.
