Many guests have wanted changes to the new FASTPass+ system that is yes, still in the testing phase and the complete rollout has not yet happened. With that, the two biggest demands are getting more than just three FASTPasses per day and also being able to park hop with them.
Well, Disney is listening and those changes are coming.
Tom Staggs himself, the Chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts revealed in a blog post on April 2, 2014:
“As expected, most of our guests think that securing times to ride our attractions is one of the best ways to maximize the fun of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. We’ve heard from a number of guests that they would like the opportunity to add additional FastPass+ entitlements during their visit, in addition to the three they can plan in advance. So, we’re working on providing them with the ability to add and enjoy additional entitlements on the day of their visit. Once they’ve used the three they’ve booked, we’ll enable them to select another at kiosks in the parks. And once they’ve used the fourth, they can select another, and so on. We also heard that other guests liked the fact that with the FastPass+ service they could use FASTPASS when they park hopped. So we’re working on a service enhancement to add that feature to FastPass+ as well.”
MagicBands are now available as an option for all guests to Walt Disney World, including daily guests. This went into place as of March 31, 2014, and it includes the option to get their three FASTPass+ selections.
There has been no timetable yet set for when these new enhancements to FASTPass+ will come, but they are definitely on the way.

It is still in the same location on the top half-circle of the hub by Cinderella Castle. The construction is going on around the hub.
Doc, we will be visiting Disney World May 6th-14th, 2014. We have park hopper passes. Please tell me Disney will let us get fast passes at the 2nd park we hop to even after we used 3 fast passes in the 1st park. If Disney has not decided this yet , do you think I could go to Guest Relations at the 2nd park and get a “paper fast pass” for any ride? We got one of these passes before from Guest Relations when Star Tours was down and we couldn’t use our fast pass( old style ). They hand wrote a fast pass for us for Toy Story Mania. Thanks.
Dave, the new format and system is not yet in place for FASTPass+, and there has been no official date as to when it will begin for getting more than three FPs a day.
Paper FASTPasses are completely gone. They are gone entirely. Guest Services may give out a FASTPass of some sort to an attraction if it breaks down or in other types of unique situations, but not just to get one at another park for park hopping purposes.
