More rumors are floating around about Free Disney Dining for 2014, and it appears as if we will get the confirmed answers soon. None the less, some interesting new information has come forth since last week’s rumors, and there is talk that all dates for fall and winter could be released at once.
While the resorts and such haven’t really changed, there are rumors that unlike past years, all months could be announced at once. Yes, there is talk that instead of just introducing Free Disney Dining with September and later with Oct. – Dec., Disney may bring all the months at once.
Here are the rumored and likely dates:
- Aug. 31 – Oct. 3
- Oct. 26 – Nov. 1
- Nov. 9 – Nov. 20
- Dec. 12 – Dec. 23
As of now, the Free Disney Dining promotion for Disney Visa Cardholders is expect on Thursday or Friday (May 1 or 2, 2014) and opening for the general public sometime between Monday, May 5, 2014, and Wednesday, May 7, 2014.
The moment all is confirmed, I’ll bring it to you. But this news on Free Disney Dining for 2014 is not only being rumored in numerous places, but a few sources of mine say this is incredibly close to accurate.
NOTE: Everything in this article is not confirmed, but very likely, and still it is subject to change. While the info here may end up being totally accurate, the official information will be listed by Doctor Disney once Disney gives word.
Tell ‘em that Doctor Disney sent you.
A three-night minimum stay will be expected and there is a 14-night maximum, and a two-day park ticket is required for all those in your party.
The Free Disney Dining promotion for 2014 is expected to be for the Quick Service Plan for Value Resorts and Regular Dining Plan for Moderate and Deluxe Resorts.

Again, this info is not confirmed and any changes could be made to this before the announcement of Free Disney Dining is made…even IF it is made.
There are also rumors of a Room-Only offer coming for around the same time.
I’ve been reading that both PO resorts are excluded, as well as All Star Movies!
With no official word yet, some of the resorts are up in the air. I have heard that FQ likely is, but Riverside isn’t. No real confirmation until Disney says the word.
The website states they open at 7:00 EST not 6:00 is this correct?
My apologies. That was a typo made before I published the article, and the correction didn’t take. It is 7am. In the past, it was 6am.
Disney CM are saying all of Port Orleans is excluded from promotion. Makes it very difficult for a family of 5.
Do you think disney will release more dates for free dining in any of the months? We are booked for start day of Oct 19th and I’m trying to decide if we should switch to end of September instead.
It is hard to tell as the only time Disney releases more dates is when they only release Sept. to start. Having released all four months at once, I doubt more dates will be added.
of course we are traveling 10/13-10/18. why don’t they have more middle of the month of October dates?? all of sept. is included. & of course we are at movies resort so we’d have to switch. I think all value resorts should be included for sure. anyone know if closer the oct there may be other deals from past experience?
There will likely be a room offer coming out, but all value resorts can’t be included if they don’t have the room allotment available for the discount.
I’m looking to book contemporary hotel 11/10-11/15 with 3 day park hopper tickets. Would it be wise to book now and add the disney free dining plan when they announce it? I would have to call the reservation line to add it in and even then it’s not guaranteed right? I would just hate to miss out on this promotion. My first time staying at a disney resort 🙂
It’s not so simple to just call in because you may be on hold for hours and even the whole day. Booking it now is a start, but you still have to be able to reach in and get your discount applied. Correct, it is not always guaranteed.
