It has been rumored and expected and here it is. Free Disney Dining has now been unleashed on the masses, but so far, just the masses of Disney Visa Cardholders. The general public is going to have to wait just a little bit longer for the 2014 version of Free Disney Dining.
Here are the dates:
- Aug. 31 – Oct. 3
- Oct. 26 – Nov. 1
- Nov. 9 – Nov. 20
- Dec. 12 – Dec. 23
The general public will be able to take advantage of Free Disney Dining on Wednesday, May 7, 2014. A room-only discount is expected as well.
Make sure to read all the info below because there have been some changes, even for Disney Visa Cardholders. It appears as if rooms at All-Star Movies, Port Orleans Riverside and Port Orleans French Quarter were already too much in demand and are excluded from Free Disney Dining.
A few others are excluded as well so check below to be sure.
A three-night minimum stay will be expected and there is a 14-night maximum, and a two-day park ticket is required for all those in your party.
The Free Disney Dining promotion for 2014 is expected to be for the Quick Service Plan for Value Resorts and Regular Dining Plan for Moderate and Deluxe Resorts.
Upgrading the Quick Service Plan to a Regular Plan for $18.65 per person per day ($3.20 per child per day).

Disney Visa Cardholders, get the jump now because you’ve got the head start on this year’s promotion.
I’ve been seeing on some websites that Allstar Movies and PO Riverside is included, but then on others that it is excluded. Could you verify this for me?
Thanks!
Neither are included. Confirmed by Disney.
Hello. Do you know if cardholders are receiving an email about the promotion? I hear that you get a code in email, but I’ve not received mine yet. Thanks! As soon as I have time to wait on the phone, I’m calling!
Sorry for responding so late, but not sure why, but some cardholders received the email and some didn’t. But it is open to all cardholders.
This will be our 28th trip and several Disney Crusies and we have never had free dining. We are coming the last week in Sept and first week in October staying at port Orleans riverside but can change. can you help us out with our fall trip. Thanks Larry & Patsey Cloud
Larry and Patsey, please send an email to stacey@middleofthemagictravel.com
She will be able to help you with anything and everything you need for booking, free dining, and more.
This is probably a terribly stupid question – but is it too late to apply for Disney VISA today and take advantage of this? I haven’t applied for a credit card in so long I don’t remember how it works.
As long as you have a Disney Visa, you can get the promotion. It does come out for the general public on Wednesday too.
Is it too late to book the free dining now? Are you aware of any other free dining offers for anytime in December-February? I cannot find any information regarding free dining on my cardholder website. Thank you.
Free dining booking window is done for this year. It usually is not released again until for the fall/winter of each year. That deal is usually announced sometime in May.
