A week ago, it was reported here that the Garden Grill Restaurant in Epcot had stopped its iconic spinning and Cast Members were not aware of when it would start up again. Well, word was passed onto me that guests saw it spinning early this morning for some testing and it is up and running for this evening’s dinner service as well.
The widely popular Epcot restaurant had actually not been spinning for almost three months, but now, hopefully, it will be working again for good.
It also appears as if the flooring of the Garden Grill Restaurant is being replaced in different parts, one at a time. The front part is already completed, but the rest is being worked on.
Reports first started coming in early April that the Garden Grill had been stationary and not spinning anymore. In late April, a couple of days saw it working again, but reports are that it didn’t work at all through the month of May and the first two weeks of June.
A number of guests had started canceling future reservations for Garden Grill when they learned it wasn’t rotating.
Now, the restaurant is working again and hopefully, it’s fixed for good. Now, guests can once again enjoy views of inside the Living with the Land attraction as they eat.
