Walt Disney World accident

An accident at the entrance to Walt Disney World brought traffic to a halt, and it was apparently due to a driver stopping to take a picture.

A number of reports have come my way with a little more info here and there, but this is the only picture that has appeared as of now.

It is not known if there are any injuries at this time, but one vehicle was said to have stopped or slowed down and a full-size conversion van slammed into the back of it.

Eyewitness reports are stating that the struck vehicle had stopped to take a picture of the huge Walt Disney World sign.

One source told me that the vehicle which was struck had the back of the car totally pushed in.

Two ambulances were on the scene as well as a firetruck and a number of Disney security vehicles.

Traffic was trying to be routed alone the left-hand side of the accident so it wouldn’t get too backed up.

All along the different road entrances to Walt Disney World, there are posted signs advising vehicles not to slow down or stop. Some signs even specifically state not to stop and take pictures of the sign, and there are flashing yellow lights.

Signs even advise not to pull over on the shoulders of the highway to get pictures.

It is not confirmed at this time if that is what those in the struck vehicle were doing, but it has been relayed to me as the case.

Hopefully, there are no serious injuries and all those involved in the accident will be alright.
