It doesn’t matter that it’s still August because Walt Disney World is truly bringing in the Halloween decorations. A few days ago, a couple of things started appearing in the windows on Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom, but as of Monday, Aug. 25, 2014, there are a lot more up now.
Now, the buildings all along Main Street have up the Halloween banners and awnings in yellow, white, and orange. Spread on numerous balconies are the different-themed jack-o-lanterns that will light up the evening.
My favorite Halloween decorations at Disney happen to be the Mickey Mouse head jack-o-lanterns sitting on the light posts that run up and down Main Street. As of yet, the giant pumpkins are not out front on the lawn between the turnstiles and train station, but they will be coming.
A good bit of the Halloween merchandise is already on store shelves and the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is on the evening of Monday, Sept. 1, 2014, so things are really starting to come about. It’s my favorite time of year at Disney, so let’s look at all of the pics for decorations up so far.

Hello! Could you please tell me if the Haunted Mansion Maid and Butler tees are for sale anywhere at WDW yet? Coming down Sept 25th and wondering if they have them yet…would be nice to wear at MNSSHP! Thanks 🙂
As of this morning, they were nowhere to be seen. Planning on heading into the Magic Kingdom tomorrow evening (Wednesday) and will look again…for my own benefit as well. Trust me, as soon as I find the Haunted Mansion merchandise hitting shelves in the parks. I’ll be posting them on the Facebook page.
