We’ve had Star Wars, Frozen, and Haunted Mansion-themed MagicBands, and now there is going to be another one very soon. There will indeed be a limited edition MagicBand coming to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and they’ll only be available to those attending the special events at the Magic Kingdom.
The MagicBands are quite awesome as you can see, and limited edition is right. There will be a collection size of only 5,000, and they are expected to be priced at $29.95 like the other special edition MagicBands that have been released.
If history is any indicator, these will also likely have a special noise and light-color when they are used at park and attraction entrances.
You will not be able to purchase these MagicBands outside of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. They are only going to be available for those attending the event beginning on Sept. 1, 2014.
Even though you can now purchase regular MagicBands without linking them to tickets, it is expected that these special edition bands will need to be automatically linked by Cast Members to your park ticket. It is also expected that there will be a limit of two per guest.
One can only think that a limited edition MagicBand will be coming for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party later this year too.

Even though not yet announced by Disney, I do believe they will be available at the Emporium and the Frontierland Pin Trading Post.
I’m hoping they are $24.95, like the Haunted Mansion ones. 🙂
I’m going to the party oct 16. What’s the chances the band will still be available?
That’s really hard to tell. I’m not sure how many tickets are sold for each party and it all depends on how many go in to purchase them. I know for Star Wars Weekends, they had a total of 5000 and still had some by the last weekend this year…so there’s a chance.
If I have reservation for October can I have them linked to this one when I go buy it when I go in September?
You can continue to use this band after the party, yes.
