A little research never hurt anyone, and even though Disney has not yet announced the dates for the 2014 Christmas Parade taping, it seems like they are kind of easy to figure out. Looking ahead to some dates and times, there are some obvious signs of when the Christmas Parade will be taped at the Magic Kingdom so you can either plan to be there or plan to avoid the park on that day.
The Disney Christmas Parade taping is usually always the first weekend in December every year, and now there are a few signs that 2014 will be no different.
Looking at Dec. 5 and 6, 2014, the Festival of Fantasy Parade at the Magic Kingdom is scheduled to run at 5:00 p.m. instead of the usual 3:00 p.m. These are the only two days in which the parade runs at that time, and the dates are a Friday and Saturday when the Christmas Parade is always taped.
For those that aren’t planning on attending the Christmas Parade or Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, you may want to seriously consider avoiding the Magic Kingdom on Friday, Dec. 5, 2014. Not only is the parade going to be taping the majority of the day, but the park closes to all non-party guests at 7:00 p.m.
Now, please remember that Disney has yet to officially announce the Christmas Parade taping days, and these are simply my deductions from history and things I’ve found out. Also, there have been no times nor talent announced for this year’s taping either.
Please don’t forget to join the “I’m So Disney…” Facebook group to talk about this and share your true Disney sides, ask questions, talk Disney, and just have great conversations with and meet lots Disney fans.
I have a client whose daughter is cheering in the parade and they are in fact filming the weekend of Dec 5th.
