Easter Eggs From Pixar’s ‘Toy Story That Time Forgot’

Toy Story That Time ForgotPixar’s “Toy Story That Time Forgot” has now come and gone as it premiered on ABC on the evening of December 2, 2014. Even though it was just a 30-minute short, “Toy Story That Time Forgot” had a number of Easter Eggs in it for Disney and Pixar fans to find.

If you haven’t yet seen “Toy Story That Time Forgot,” and don’t want to be spoiled or simply want to look for the Easter Eggs yourself…then stop reading now.

Some of these were seen by me while others have been reported to me by readers.  Not all are confirmed, but they sure look like they’re certainly there.

~ One of the most obvious is the Pixar Ball that can be seen in the lower left hand-front corner of the boxes for the BattleSaurs.

If you look closely under the Pixar ball, you can also see “LUXO” written underneath it.

~ Once Bonnie’s toys arrive in Mason’s play room, they meet up with the BattleSaurs, and they speak to Buzz, Woody, Trixie, and others…well, one BattleSaur tells them, “I find your lack of armor…disturbing.”

That’s an obvious nod to Darth Vader in “Star Wars” as he says, “I find your lack of faith disturbing.”

~ As Bonnie’s toys climb out of the spaceship backpack, a wide-view shot of Mason’s room can be seen with toys everywhere.

This wide shot actually shows a number of things that look like they could be Easter Eggs including:

  • Pizza Planet truck to the immediate right of the car loop.
  • Multiple World Grand Prix racers from “Cars 2.”
  • A Transitron poster is also said to be seen. Transitron was a toy that was featured in “Toy Story of Terror,” but I haven’t actually spotted it yet.

More are likely in there, but hey…the show just aired a half an hour ago for the first time. Do you spot any others?

“Toy Story That Time Forgot” will air again on Sunday, December 7, 2014, at 8 p.m. EST on ABC Family.

  1. One of the star ornaments on the tree was blue with a white moon–a nod to the Sorcerer Mickey hat I think!

  2. there is a hidden Mickey on the front of the gingerbread house at Bonnie’s house!

  3. In the opening frame in the bottom right is the snow globe from one of Pixars earlier shorts
