Many have been wondering if the Star Wars fireworks were going to continue at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and as of now, it seems like they will at least have a short hiatus. Coming for the holidays is a brand new shows called “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!”
Beginning on Nov. 14, 2016, “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” will come to life at DHS, and it will include fireworks, great music, and the same projection technology on the Great Movie Ride that is used for Star Wars. Oh yeah, and there will be snow.
Led by elves Wayne and Lanny, the duo from ABC/Walt Disney Animation Studios’ animated special “Prep & Landing,” the spirited yuletide adventure to the North Pole features memorable holiday moments from Disney films including “Mickey’s Christmas Carol,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Pluto’s Christmas Tree,” “Bambi,” Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and more, all building to a festive finale that’s “So tinsel!”
A sweet way to enjoy this new holiday spectacular is with the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Holiday Dessert Party, which includes reserved viewing, desserts, specialty beverages and more. Each dessert party guest will get a pair of 3D HoloSpex® glasses to use while watching the show. The glasses create spectacular holographic illusions of gingerbread men, candy canes, snowflakes and ornaments on any bright point of light.
Pricing for the dessert party will be as such:
- Adults: $69 including gratuity and tax
- Children (Ages 3-9): $39 including gratuity and tax
Reservations for the dessert party are not yet available online as of 11 a.m. ET, but can be made by calling in to 407-WDW-DINE.
For those not wanting to get the dessert party, the nighttime spectacular itself is included with price of admission.
Please check the official page for “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” as it will tell you the full schedule of times and dates. As of now, “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” is set to begin on Nov. 14, 2016, and run through Dec. 31, 2016.
It is going to show nightly with some nights starting at 6:45 p.m. and others beginning at 9 p.m.
So far, times are only shown through Dec. 10, 2016, but Disney has confirmed the show will run through the end of the year.
