Last night was the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party of 2016, and it was just as amazing as it is every year. Now, here is a lot of info you need to know if you’re planning on going and included below are images of the party park maps, character locations, times, and more.
It really was a great party and was just a lot of fun as it is every single year. Main Street USA is decorated already as is the majority of Magic Kingdom. It also snows on Main Street throughout the party so don’t forget to stop and enjoy that too.
First things first, the park map for this year looks great and gives a lot of detail once again. Click the images below for larger looks at them.
While the maps for the Christmas Party do show character locations, it doesn’t state which characters are where. Things are always possible to change, but here are those that I saw last night at the first party and where they are located.

This year, there are more complimentary treat options and let me tell you…they are incredible. Disney did a great job at this year’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party with the new options and they were all great. Treat locations are open until 12 a.m.
- Hot Chocolate and Snickerdoodle cookie, Tortuga Tavern, Adventureland
- Eggnog and Gingersnap Molasses Cookie, Heritage House in Liberty Square

So no meet and greet with Anna and Elsa, this year? Just confirming.
Correct. They are in the parade, but do not have a meet-and-greet at the party.
Did any of the characters come out before 7pm? Also, what were the lines like for Seven Dwarfs and Jack Skellington?
We are currently in line for Jack Skellington and he won’t be out until 7. But people were lined up 2 hours early.
At the end of the party, in Adventureland right outside the entrance to the Tiki Room, my family saw Peter Pan and took a picture with him. We were heading to Jack Sparrow and Peter had no line and was just wandering. This was at the Thursday party, and it was awesome.
