Walt Disney World And Disneyland Set To Strictly Enforce Stroller Size Limits – No Wagons

For years, the theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort haven’t been overly strict on the size of strollers brought in by guests. Well, it appears as if all of that may soon change as stroller size limits will soon be strictly enforced as will the “no wagons” policy.

walt disney world disneyland stroller size limit keenz wagons

If you check out the list of “Prohibited Items” for Disneyland and Walt Disney World, you will see that guests may not bring in:

  • Strollers larger than 31″x52″ (79cm x 132cm).
  • Any trailer-like object that is pushed or towed by an Electronic Conveyance Vehicle, wheelchair or stroller, or pulled by a person, including wagons.

Now, these rules haven’t always been enforced which has resulted in big wagons being brought in, stroller-like creations that look like Cinderella’s Coach, and even larger conveyances. Well, it appears as if Disney is going to start cracking down on these items an enforcing the rules in a stricter manner.

As a matter of fact, these newly enforced rules will go into place as of May 1, 2019.

they need to restrict the size of them. People dont need huge strollers for their child and unless the child is handicapped they shouldn’t be in one after age 4. Kids do know how to walk . I see some parents wear a little leash type thing on their wrist or on a little backpack. People need to stop babying their kids and if they do get fussy, take them back to the hotel for a nap. Its what we used to do.

    • You’re welcome for the wall says

      Piss off lorriane

      • Not an ass who tells people i disagree with to piss off says

What an a5hole comment. Watch videos from the 70s or 80s. Hardly a stroller visible. If it was, you would see a simple folding one. Same for scooters. Lazy people. Seriously. Ever see the size of these people? Get up and walk. If it wasn’t because you ate yourself to bad health we woulndt have to put up with it. Wall must be a fat assed lazy bad parent.

        • There are a lot of people with health conditions that are visible to others. Myself,I have a heatvonfition and serious arthritis in almost every joint in my body. Without a scooter I could ever go to Disney. Don’t judge what you don’t know.

        • My husband has no legs. Guess he shouldn’t be allowed to leave the house.

    • Wow really? So my four year old isn’t allowed to get tired and need a place to rest for a bit? It isn’t normal for a four year old to walk 10 miles a day. I think it’s perfectly acceptable to have a stroller. Should they limit the sizes of some? Ye. To say anyone over 4 doesn’t need one is asinine

    • Completely agree with you

    • Bella wilson says

      You obviously aren’t a parent. After 4? … you’re funny.

    • I’m sorry, but you don’t get to parent others children. Some get a once in a lifetime opportunity and one of my children shouldn’t ruin that with them taking a nap. My older children do not need to go back to the hotel because you don’t want my child sleeping in their stroller. I agree with things that are too large, but a double stroller should be allowed.

    • Some people also need to stop telling others how to parent their children.

      Sincerely,
A mother of 3, two of which who are over 4, who will be bringing a large stroller to Walt Disney World to accommodate them all!

    • Just because a child isn’t “handicapped” doesn’t mean they may not need a stroller and not every family can afford a hotel stay along with the park visit. You don’t know every family’s physical and financial restrictions and to make a blanket statement like that is ignorant and unkind.

      • jean mclaughlin says

And if not in a Disney hotel and leave you will probably have to pay the parking fee again!!!!

    • I’m not going to expect a child of any age to be able to spend a day walking the parks when I know how tired and sore my adult feet & legs get.

    • jean Mclaughlin says

You are welcome to take my 1, 4 and 7 year old around the park for the day without a wagon or large stroller. We drive from Tampa so no hotel etc available. If made parking cheap we could haul our RV over and put in parking lot but they don’t like that. Would have AC place for naps. I assume Disney will provide papers, food, snacks, shade extra clothes etc etc. Need more high chairs and places to eat that are cheaper. We did the 3 day resident thing last year with only a small stroller and wearing the baby. It was miserable. We are not doing it this year. We did animal kingdom, hollywood studios and magic kingdom on one day visits three different weekends. I guess rather than making it a family trip we should send one parent or grandparent with the oldest on with no strollers etc. The leashes cause people to trip over and pull the kids down. You try walking on those little legs all day. Remember they take 3-4 steps for our every one. I used to take the parent of these kids and brother to the parks and had what at the time was a large stroller with 4 large wheels and not much smaller than the Keenz is. No they don’t need to make them double the size with all the junk some put on them but the normal one is easy to work with. But we will be going to National parks etc I guess for a while. We have loved seeing their little faces as they see the new things but I guess we are done with attitudes like these. Haven’t even tried Epcot yet with them. BYE BYE Disney. WE will be at the state and national parks, and Glazer Museum for Kids and Great Explorations

      • No one told you to have all those fucking kids, and I’m pretty sure Disney doesn’t give a shit that you’re not going to the parks anymore. The parks are a privilege not a right, AND you’re actually doing Disney a favour by not going. Byeeee Felicia~

    • Lorraine,
You must not be a mom of a small child. I certainly am, and the Stroller wagon I use comes in handy! Especially at Disney! Young kids need a lot of things. Especially a place to relax after spending the whole day at a theme park. Kids get tired very quickly! It definitely helps us parents out knowing our kids are comfortable! I will not be carrying my 30lb child around in my arms while they nap. I will baby my kid until she’s out of my house, and that’ll be her choice when she wants to leave. We aren’t in the 80’s. It’s much different now than it was “back then “ I’m sure I can speak for other moms when I say this, but the wagons we use our children, are a life saver for us!

      • Can you be my mom lol im 36 n im done with adulting id love to get back the childhood i never had lol

    • Oh shut the fuck up Lorraine. Four year old little legs get tired after 8 hours of walking. For every one of our steps it’s two for them. Ya’ll also use to let your kids ride in cars without car seats and inject mercury into teeth cavities. No one gives a shit about what you use to do. Self-righteous ass. How about you mind your kids and not tell others how to raise theirs. Fucking Lorraine. Sheesh.

    • You need to mind your own business and not worry about how other people handle their children so long as it isn’t infringing on you.

You have no idea what’s going on in that family.

    • Charlotte Hannibal says

Thanks Lorraine for telling us the best easy to parent our kids. How would we do it without you.

      • Lorraine worse nightmare says

You must not be a parent, thankfully, because your ignorance shows.

    • My almost 5 grandson will be in a stroller as he is autistic, in the 1% for height, and a flight risk. When in line he will be on a “leash” so I don’t loose him. Being almost nonverbal has its challenges. Please don’t criticize others for what you don’t know. Thank you.

    • Lorraine’s Grandkids says

What people do with their kids is their business, not yours, lol. Stroller size limits are certainly needed but “that’s how we used to do it” is a selfish and narrow-minded point of view.

    • Jaime Bigley says

A lot of kids can’t handle all that walking – heck, a lot of adults can’t handle it either!! My 4-year-old little girl is very advanced for her age and she could not walk the 6-8 miles a day in the heat of summer. That’s asking an awful lot from even the most mature small child. This is a family vacation destination and strollers are needed for the little ones. Yes, they should be restricted in size, but using a stroller for kids over 4 is not babying our kids; it’s being sensitive to their needs and making it an enjoyable experience for all involved.

    • Age of 4? That’s crazy! We walk sometimes 7-9miles a day.. what 4 year old can do that and still enjoy themselves? Why would you even want to? Even with taking breaks back at the hote, which we often do, that’s just crazy. Just because that’s what you did for your family doesn’t give you the right to unilaterally decide an age you feel would be appropriate. Don’t judge other parents for the decisions they make just because they are different from yours.

    • Some kids get tired walking for miles and hours upon end. It’s not babying them, they are physically knackered. Hopefully you are not a mother Joan Crawford

    • Excuse me who are you to say people can’t take big strollers? I pay more than enough money to enjoy the parks with my kids and more than enough money on my stroller like the KEENZ so they can be comfortable! Your not the parent to me or my children!

    • Nicole Taylor says

Some people don’t have the luxury of having a hotel to go to and nap, or more than one day for that matter. Strategic planning is a must. For the price people pay for a day at Disneyland for the family, having a child nap in a push stroller is not asking to much! And for a young child, walking around 12+ hours is tiring anyway you look at it. Not to mention the time better utilized not having to run back and forth from lockers getting or putting jackets and personal items of necessity in and out…….you can actually experience the shows and attractions. A sroller or wagon is 100% necessary! It hurts no one. Think bedore you judge or speak.

    • Tony Setliff says

Here’s a great idea, how about you worry about yourself? Some families require larger strollers and really what business is it of yours?

    • Okay I don’ t think anyone has the right to tell other individual on what their kids should do. First in case u don’t know all kids are different and their needs differ! And if I want to place my 6 yr old in a stroller that is my independent decision and it cause you no harm or distress what so ever. Are u crazy enough to think that a parent that has theirs kids safety at heart is “babying” them? Does it harm u to see a child on “a leash” as you call it? The article is about stroller size not parenting!!! What is wrong with society is people like u who try to parent shame anyone who doesn’t meet ur standards instead we should build people up and help them to feel secure! My 7 year old will have a stroller available to her because she is not handicap but she has a medical condition called cancer, called radiation that makes her legs hurt and she get short of breath but she doesn’t want to go back to hotel cause she knows she is not promised tomorrow! And yes I leashed my daughter when she was young because u must be ignorant not to know how quickly a child can be grabbed. So instead of u judging other parents maybe u should realize u NEVER know someone else struggles or battles!!! Don’t be so quick to judge a book by its cover!!!!

    • To be fair, not everyone is staying at a hotel.

    • Flasunshine says

No, kids get tired of all that walking. Plus, it’s safer moving through the crowd with them in the stroller. Adults aren’t looking down or paying attention when they walk. They run into my seven year old, knocking her over and not even noticing. Disney needs to restrict the crowd size and adults without kids shouldn’t be allowed in Magic Kingdom until after 6pm.

      • Adults shouldn’t be allowed until after 6pm? Enjoy Disney and let everyone quit criticizing everyone else. Life’s too short people. Now, the back of my legs and even my children’s legs have been hit several times by people pushing/bullying their way through parks. It just gets too crowded sometimes.

    • Mind ya business, at 4 years old they still get tired.

    • Um no. I didn’t pay all that money to go back to the hotel to take naps.

    • Mama Sites says

No judgement there at all. All families have their struggles and challenges. Be kind. Always. You never know what a family may be going through.

    • Not everybody has a hotel to go back to. We love 2 hours away and a troller is a fine place for them to nap. Maybe your attitude just needs to be nicer…

    • There are a lot of reasons people have wagons, strollers and leashes. There are a lot of disabilities that might not be noticeable just by looking at someone. For my children and for other families we use these items not for convenience or to mess with your trip…it is for their childrens safety and the enjoyment of everyone around them. My stroller (single) was given a wheelchair sticker and I had a leash. Leashes were also very popular in the 80s…..not a new thing

    • I agree with mostly everything you say, but some people are there for a day trip. So, the hotel nap thing, with not work. And just because a child is over four doesn’t mean they’re kicked out of a stroller. As long as parents follow the new guidelines, they can still push their kiddos to ease their achy feet and legs. I am a mother of three, and a Disneyland passholder.

    • I have to ask have you taken kids to Disneyland? I took my daughter when she was 6, we brought a basic umbrella stroller, she crashed out in it twice from walking around all day. What people don’t need are the giagantic jogger strollers that are 2-3x the width of a standard umbrella stroller. A wagon doesn’t even bother me bc again it’s not that wide, but the wide jogger ones aren’t necessary.

    • I have a three year old, four our next trip later this year. I’m sorry, I definitely don’t baby my child, but Disney can be tiring for everyone (parents included!) and I will most definitely have a stroller because life is easier. I still use it on the daily…it’s been said that for every one step an adult takes, a small child takes two or three. I’m sure you’ve taken a 4-5 year old to Disney World and refused a stroller and had a perfect trip. You’re the exception. Not the rule.

    • The leashes are needed because the crowds are heavier than they used to be when I took my daughter. I’m older now and will take a stroller for the 4 almost 5 yr old because she gets tired and I’m not going to deal with trying to carry or keep it up.

    • WhatTheHell says

Wow. So many parents babying their children. I went to Disney as a kid and I walked. Wow, the horror. That’s why this Country and the World is going to hell, raising lazy entitled brats. Take it as you like but it’s truth. I see big as kids who are able to walk just fine but they throw tantrums so mommy and daddy gets them a stroller or wheelchair and these are teens I see. I swear y’all don’t need to be going to Disney if you can’t handle the parks and walking. The future of the human race is doomed!

    • Lol LORRAINE! YOU TELL ALL THESE WHACK ASS PARENTS WITH THEIR LAZY ASS KIDS OFF MAMA! We tired of seeing these big ass Volkswagen strollers.. These parents have no consideration for the space around them. Nobody telling you that you can’t bring a stroller sweetie but leave your motherfucking SUVs at home please and thank you. I don’t know why the rest of us have to suffer because you decided to let your husband raw it and popped out a lovechild that you now feel like you have to wheel around in fucking Herbie Fully Loaded. The park already crowded and feels so damn unsafe and is LITTERED with strollers already. This a theme park not a parking garage hunty. Bring a leash, an umbrella stroller, a light stroller.

Also for all of you telling Lorraine to stop telling you how to parent, y’all probably the same people telling customer service workers how to do their own damn jobs. Sit down Susan, teach your kid how to walk and leave the SUV AT HOME. And Lorraine if you ever want to shoot the shit you hit me up hunny.

    • Wow! To say that a child over 4 shouldn’t have a stroller where they can sit for a while is absurd. I completely understand and agree with the size limits as some are just too big, but there should never be an age limitation. Your talking about a 12 hour day spent walking and standing, I can’t imagine very many children can handle that much.

    • Completely agree Lorraine. My 3 children, all in their 20’s, have been to Disneyland every year of their lives. When they were little, Disney didn’t allow wagons, We made it with little umbrella strollers and walking. The wagons today are cute, but are very space consuming. Imagine if everyone visiting the parks brought a wagon in. I think a lot of the idea in using a wagon is that parents get tired of their kids, so they put them away.

    • Wow you must not have kids

    • you must be insane and not have any children to think that a 4 year old can walk up to 10 miles a day. And to say that we have to leave the park to take them back to a hotel (which might not even be on site) is very rude and disrespectful. Why should people have to leave the park to calm down their child just so you can be happy and not have to walk around with strollers around you??? Should Disney makes a size limit? Yeah of course but to ban strollers in general is outrageous.

    • Entitlement. People go too far in coddling which hinders their children. They go too far with the strollers instead of bringing a necessity based one, they haul in a luxury room hogging one. I’ve seen many people hop off fatty scooters with no signs of any physical limitations. I’m tired of having “work dogs” with fake harnesses on growling at my feet.

  2. What you use to do….. It was a lot cheaper to get in the park back then, or to get a room. I don’t want to take my kids back to the hotel when i paid all that money. Most the time We don’t stay by the parks. we are a 2 hour drive so we do a lot of day trips. DL is for familys. so it wouldn’t be far for my 10 year to miss out bc we have to take my 2 year old out of the park to take a nap.

  3. Gabrielle says

How is allowing a four year old to rest in a stroller babying? I’m pretty sure it’s not common for a child to walk miles on top of miles in that heat. Go home Lorraine your drunk.

  4. Well the keenz 7 STROOLER is 31×15 so IT’S ALL GOOD!! ALSO if Disney hasn’t officially said anything on this your just posting fake news.

  5. I am a Passport holder, Florida Resident. Really tired of these irresponsible adults, run by their strollers up on my heels, over my feet. Pushing me and other people out of the way in the shops!! Why wait till May 1st??? Disney I quickly becoming a undesirable place to visit!! Prices are high, people are doing whatever they want no rules are being forced. I just know Walrus rolling in his grave!

  6. So you can rent s keenz from Disney lol so don’t think that’s happening

  7. It might be best if you followed the mindset: Worry about yourself. How someone else parents their child is not your business or concern. Stay in your lane

  8. Why do people hate Keenz?

ITS SMALLER THAN MOST STROLLERS. People just fail to realize that just because the layout is different (seats) it’s not necessarily bigger 🙄
And even with the new sizes it STILL IS SMALLER than requirements
    15 wide by 31 long…..

Oh AND ITS RATED AS A STROLLER by NOT A WAGON

    Sooooooooo….
And Lorraine Ann Cramer worry about your kids we keenz owners will worry about ours

  9. Have you enen been to Disney? The parks are huge. Even my feet get very tired after a while. I certainly don’t expect my 5 year old to walk around for 10+ hours several days in a row. That’s just cruel. So if letting him have access to a stroller is “babying” him, then so be it. He doesn’t take naps, but a break in the stroller is great. I’d rather see kids in oversized strollers than kids having meltdowns because their feet hurt.

  10. jean Mclaughlin says

Guess we won’t be going for a few years. We don’t have a room over there we drive from Tampa. where would you like an under 3 to be. I hope we are sitting next to you with an exhausted child screaming and fussing because we couldn’t bring our stroller. Our wagon/stroller is smaller than by daughters double stroller and easier to get through doors. Hope Disney is now going to for free provide us diapers, bottles etc and a change of clothes big umbrellas etc for our kids. I don’t like the leashes on the kids as people can trip over them. I would rather have the kids contained. Much easier to wait for parade with kid contained and not on the filthy ground. Much easier to contain them than have them run out into the parade Much easier to feed them in the wagon than the non existent or filthy high chairs. See YA disney we will enjoy our time at the National Parks for now. If we could park our RV in the parking lot for a reasonable amount we could use it for naps as the people want us to do even though only coming from Tampa.

  11. I am happy that they are going to enforce this rule. This last trip to Disneyland was hectic. The wagons there and blocking the entrances of the stores or blocking aisles in the stores. There are lockers if you need to put stuff in very convenient. And have everyone wear a backpack with the neseities.

  12. I’m not going to expect a child of any age to be able to spend a day walking the parks when I know how tired and sore my adult feet & legs get.

  13. Janette boeren says

Last time i went to Disney I couldn’t believe the amount of mobility scooters. Most of them use it to get into rides quicker & most have them because they are ( I’m sorry) too fat & lazy to walk. They have children on them & all the bags etc. If they were to walk it will keep the weight off.

  14. Alexis Leman says

I hope a double stroller won’t be an issue? My sister is joining my family on vacation at the end of this year and she has an almost 1 year old and by that point will have a 2 month old baby (The baby should be born in October and we are going end of December). They will need a double stroller for them will that work or is that part of the restriction?

  15. In response to the above comment…most children of 4 yrs old and older are going to get tired & need a rest. Going back to the hotel isn’t feasible for every family especially those that stay off property & are only able to go one day. These families spend $100+ per ticket & asking them to cut their time back in the park is ridiculous. Every family is different & every child is different. There are children that need a break from the chaos of the parks as well & doing so in a Keenz or Veer is a perfect solution. There is zero need to parent shame. Oh and by the way…these brands are certified strollers & are smaller than most double strollers.

  16. Katherine says

I’ve called Disney in regards to question about the push type wagons on more then one occasion and have been told repeatedly by EVERY person I’ve spoken with that they are strictly enforcing the push only option since that makes it a stroller. Those that are coming in and pulling are now being asked to leave. I spoke to someone in magic kingdom as welk on the phone who also clarified they are just enforcing that people are bringing these in then trying to pull them so they are now removing those people.

  17. kathy russo says

Good for you , at 4 is the limit to get dragged around like a moppet ? A 41/2 year old or a 6 year old in a stroller rubs you the wrong way? With the astronomical amount it costs families to visit the parks now we need to be told if our lives are made a little easier by using a stroller its a no go . I can see limiting the wagon type ,but i have no problem if i see a 5 year old in a stroller , many small kids never experience that type of walking ever , combined with that heat and routine changes I say live and let live . Busses with strollers have always been a challenge but i feel sorry for parents who board them , rack em in ,there always standing have fold them up .Whos next the handicapped?

  18. People need to leave their furniture at home
Knocking into other people with their big back packs and strollers is dangerous and very RUDE.

  19. Hi there, we would like to share our official Press Release on the subject, as the use of the image of the Keenz 7S & phrase “strollers LIKE the Keenz 7S” are misrepresenting the actual guidelines that the Walt Disney Company have in place as “Prohibited Items”.

    https://www.mainstreetstrollers.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/MSS-Keenz-Press-Release-03252019.jpg

  20. Lorraine. Are you going to pay for my trip LOL because I rather not waste time on an expensive two-day trip going back to the hotel for naps. So I will keep getting in your way with my big stroller. 😜

  21. Tony Setliff says

Here’s a great idea, how about you worry about yourself? Some families require larger strollers and really what business is it of yours?

  22. Margaret Canady says

Some where along the road people have lost the point of Disneyland it’s for children so when I hear any negative complaint from ADULTS it amazes me. If you don’t like strollers or the size then maybe you should reconsider going to a child’s theme park.

  23. Wow. Four might be alitttle harsh. I agree with the oversized strollers and wagons, but 5 and 6 year old legs get tutored and typical jogging strollers suit them well.

  24. Cast member here. I can tell you that Keenz 7s ARE allowed in the parks, they’re specifically listed on our backstage posters as the only wagon permitted, and this isn’t going to change anytime soon. This precaution is more for radio flyer wagons etc that are PULLED, not pushed. Your Keenz are safe!

  25. Norman Blackhall says

That is a good 1st step. Next Disney needs to look at their stroller rental fleet. I am referring to their huge, plastic double seat tanks that some guests use as battering rams, especially during our Florida daily rain showers. These parents seem to think their kids will melt if they get wet. My late-wife and I were both disabled and had our own small electric scooters. One night we decided to leave early to go back to the hotel since it was raining a little. This happened when they were remodeling the top of Main Street. We were AP holders and knew that they cancel the fireworks when it rains. Most tourists don’t read the brochures, including the info about canceling shows if it rains. This guy came running full speed at us while pushing one of those huge 2-seater strollers. He never tried to avoid a collision and ran over my wife. He never bothered to say sorry or even ask if she was alright. The thing is, had either of his little twerps been in the stroller during the collision someone would have been hurt. My wife got a couple of bruises and some damage to her scooter. Otherwise everyone survived. suggest Disney look at their fleet of injection-molded strollers to make guest’s visits better.

    • Your scooter is just as bad as a big stroller. You think you’re more entitled just like everyone else. Get in line.

    • Tim Aguilar says

DL has actually swapped out those doible strollers for singles now

  26. I’m a cast member and I can assure you that Keenz ARE allowed and will continue to be for the foreseeable future. We actually have posters backstage specifically telling us that Keenz 7s are allowed. They meet the requirements. This is more for regular wagons that are pulled.

  27. You do realize this is a place for children? Also get a life if a stroller in a public place irritates you that much! Clearly your not a family oriented person so don’t go to a family friendly place and complain about how people choose to accommodate their families.

  28. Ellen Wasserman says

It’s aboyt time they did something!!! Those big things are not necessary and rediculous!!!!!!

  29. You say that a child should be able to walk that whole park all day at 4 years old. You are a joke!

  30. I used one of the Keenz 7S strollers on our last trip to Disney World for our two smallest grandkids and we loved it. It not only held the two kids but it held all of our stuff too. When the kids were not using the stroller we used it as a shopping cart. For Mickey’s Not-So-Scary-Halloween Party we even filled our wagon stroller up with Halloween candy. It was awesome.

We sure will be disappointed if there is a stroller wagon ban.

As far as I know Disney has been enforcing the stroller size limits and the no wagon rules. As a matter of fact, we have had two separate families we know of that tried to take a wagon and were turned away by the cast members at the gate. The wagon they took was one of those collapsible red wagons you pull. It was a real wagon.

We had no problem going through the gate with our Keenz stroller and we had it for a week at all the parks.
I was curious so I read Disney’s rules on prohibited items carefully and the stroller wagon seems to be allowed under the current rules.

If you look at Disney’s rules for stroller size it states that strollers larger than 36”x52” are prohibited. Well, the Keenz stroller is 26.5”x44” and falls well below the size limit. So it doesn’t break that rule.
The next rule is “Any trailer-like object that is pushed or towed by an Electronic Conveyance Vehicle, wheelchair or stroller, or pulled by a person, including wagons.” The Keenz stroller is not pushed or towed by an EVC or is it pulled by a person. The word “wagon” in this case is referring to a trailer-like object. The stroller is not a trailer being pulled by a person. So it doesn’t break this rule either.

I hope Disney won’t change the rules and specifically ban Keenz 7S strollers because we love using it at the parks.

  31. … and people with twins, triplets, etc. are to do what exactly?

  32. It’s about Tim they cracked down on these motor home size strollers and wagons half the time the kids aren’t even in them as their used for shopping carts and cooler carrying vehicles! I can’t count the number of times my feet have been run over by these monsters! Why wait until May enforce the new guidelines now!!

  33. Julio Ramirez says

Seems like the above comments excuse my language but you are all assholes. I have been taking my kids since they were month olds and the Push Wagon as the best. if they need a nap it is perfect. I’m sorry but I would rather have my kid contained in a wagon then having adults push him down. He walks a lot in the parks but for break these are great. Double strollers are bigger and less manageable. Maybe if adults remembered these parks are for kids and not just themselves they would be more understanding. Why have adults become so bitter towards kids. Maybe go somewhere else.

It’s really not the wagons and strollers and scooters that are the problem, it’s the mindless. Though less and often rude walking guests who do not care or respect those who use these devices. I get it… people are excited and focused on the scenes and and attractions and everyone is rushing to get to that next ride…HOWEVER, watch where the heck you are walking. The most intelligent solution to the parks guest “traffic” problem is to simply create stroller/scooter lanes on both sides of every road for two-way traffic. Strictly enforce the use of these lanes so that walking guests must walk in the widest center area of the streets. How simple this would be.

  35. My grandson is autistic is 6 and we use a stroller to prevent melt downs. To look at him he looks like a normal 6 yr. Old. He is non verbal…if he gets separated he can’t tell you anything…so be cautious to judge. I know that was not your intention…..but please remember not all disabilities are visable.

Maybe I missed it, but I didn’t see anything about age limits for a stroller. As for double-wides, I say ban them! I’ve always said the parks would be much more enjoyable if it weren’t for all those damn kids!

  37. If your kid is too tired to walk the parks then maybe Disney isn’t the right vacation until they are older. If you don’t have the luxury to take your kid to a hotel for a nap when they are tired then you should look at other vacation ideas that are more aligned with your children’s walking abilities.

    • Vm I have kids that get tired, but they love Disneyland. So you’re telling me that until they are teenagers then I shouldn’t take my kids? Like get over yourself. I don’t have one of the huge strollers, but I would gladly ram one into.

    • Do you even have kids? Lol Wait, you’re obviously joking. Ok, haha..very funny

  38. I agree!!!

I see many ppl complaining about “ where my kid gonna sleep or rest???”

Ummmmmmm my take, DONT TAKE UR LITTLE TINY BABIES TO DISNEY!!!
If ur kid can’t walk the whole day and go pee by themselves……keep them home…..(annoying crying all day because the kid is exhausted is ANNOYING!)

And the parents of these strollers i have a bone to pick with y’all !

U don’t stop for a handicapped, walker, or even a cane…..and u crash into ppl without even a sorry……This happened at ANY park!!!

Yeah no keep em at home 🏠

  39. We just bought a wagon stroller for our three kiddos six and under. Previously, we were bringing two front to back double strollers, and everything was such a pain- traversing crowds as a family, stroller parking, trying to eat at a counter service food place. But, it was *much* easier with the wagon, and we even got complimented by cast members on it’s usability with all the kiddos in tow. It’s not even that much longer than our double- maybe two inches? It fit in perfectly with all the other strollers in stroller parking, caused literally zero issues, anddd it made it a wayy easier experience for us.

  40. Wow, so many whiny, rude, entitled moms here. I don’t want you to accidentally ram me over with your behemoth of a stroller, I don’t want to feel like I’m dodging oncoming traffic because I have 20 mombies pushing tanks all over the place with no regard for everyone, and I certainly don’t want to spend my day surrounded by, again, entitled, holier than thou mothers who think the fact that they got knocked up and popped a baby out somehow makes them special, delicate flowers who get to do whtatever tf they want at the expense of others (who paid just as much as you to go to the park.”

I’m a Disney employee and the new rumor is babies will no longer be free and will require a child price ticket. Also, within 3 years they will be incorporating their own strollers and outside strollers will no longer be allowed at all.

It’s about time. I hope scooters are next. I can’t tell you how many times we have witnessed scooter people pull up to the front of the line to watch a particular event like a parade and before it begins they RUN across the street to get food to bring back to the scooter to eat. Makes me sick!

My 6year old, very strong, very active son fell asleep in the stroller at Disneyland recently. It was our second day and he’s not used to walking 20 miles over two days. Obviously.
I take strollers to Washington D.C. and Disneyland until the child is above the size limit it can handle. Much healthier and more enjoyable for EVERYONE.

Best news ever no giant ass Monster strollers blocking the way and running people over because idiots aren’t paying attention to where they are pushing them.
