The Orlando Sentinel got a great look at the gondola cabins for the Disney Skyliner which is still set to open in the fall of 2019. Along with the looks inside of the cabins, there was some additional information given forth as well.

  • There will be a total of 300 gondolas on the Skyliner system
  • Rides will average 15 minutes in length depending on your destination
  • The gondolas will be about 60 feet up in the air
  • The Skyliner will travel about 11 mph
  • Cabins will be able to hold up to 10 guests
  • Again, there will be no A/C in the cabins, but the reflective windows and ventilation system will keep it cool enough inside

The Disney Skyliner will be unveiled in May, but again, the opening date is still set for sometime in the fall.
