One of the hidden gems of Walt Disney World is the Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. It’s actually not “hidden,” but doesn’t get nearly enough attention. A huge reason to love it is because of Trail’s End Restaurant which has one of the best breakfast pizzas you will ever try.
That breakfast pizza is of course served in the mornings at Trail’s End, and it seems simple when you look at it, but there’s more to it than you may realize.
With that being said, let’s take a look at the Disney Recipe for the Breakfast Pizza at Trail’s End.
This is one of those recipes where amounts are kind of up to you and how much you would prefer of the toppings.
Ingredients
- 1 pre-made or homemade pizza crust (your preference)
- 8 eggs
- 1 Red Bell Pepper (sliced)
- 1 Green Bell Pepper (sliced)
- 1 Red Onion (sliced)
- Cheese (type of your choice)
- Vegetable Oil
- Bacon (cooked and crumbled)
- Breakfast Sausage (cooked and sliced)
- Salt and Pepper (to taste)
Directions
1.) Scramble eggs until slightly underdone. Add salt and pepper to taste.
2.) Prepare pizza crust to your liking if homemade. Either homemade or pre-made, cook to light brown.
3.) Preheat oven to 350°.
4.) Heat up oil in skillet. Saute slices of onion and peppers until tender and then remove and set them to the side.
5.) Spread scrambled eggs on pizza crust to cover. Spread the sauteed vegetables around evenly or to your liking.
6.) Sprinkle grated cheese (mozzarella or cheddar are some favorites) on the top of the pizza evenly.
7.) Place pizza into oven for 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted.
