There is no mistaking that a lot of time and effort went into all of the details and intricacies at Disney’s brand new Art of Animation Resort. As the doors first opened for guests on Thursday, May 31, 2012, I made it a point to search for Hidden Mickeys because they are always lurking.
Some are in the hallways. Others are on the sides of buildings or near the pool. Surely, there are a ton to find but some of the most prominent Hidden Mickeys can be found in the Landscape of Flavors food court. For those that don’t want to know about them or want to find them for yourself, don’t check out the gallery of pics below.
Believe it or not, they attempted to make a few of them difficult to find even once you know where to look. That’s the great thing about Disney is they will give you an inch, but then you’ve got to put in the effort to go the mile.
In the Landscape of Flavors, each seating area has a giant chandelier that focuses on one of the four areas – The Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, Cars, and The Lion King. Inside each chandelier is a Hidden Mickey and in the one hanging over The Little Mermaid section…there’s even a hidden reference to Winnie the Pooh.
