For those that have ever visited Walt Disney World, you’ve more than likely seen or been a part of the Brazilian tour groups that frequent the parks. These very large groups come in hordes at time to enjoy all the festivities and fun at the Disney parks, but sometimes the language barrier can cause some problems. Disney has now taken on the initiative to help the situation by creating a new program that will help both those in and out of the Brazilian tour groups.
While walking around the Magic Kingdom the other day, some Cast Members were just strolling through the park with solid green shirts on that had the Brazilian flag on them along with Disney name tags. With curiosity and upon inquiring, I found out the answer.
These Cast Members advised me that they represent the Disney Cruise Line and have been put into the parks in order to help the tour groups with the “language barrier and also help inform others of the Brazilian culture.”
From the moment that the tour groups enter the parks, the Cast Members will help the Brazilian tour groups organize anything they plan to do for the day and where they would like to go. The CMs will also help once they break for lunch and other times throughout the day.
Very helpful, very informative, and could really help clear up a lot of confusion.
