Pirates of the Caribbean in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World will be closing for a one-day refurbishment on October 9, 2012. This coincides with rumors of Next Generation updates being put into the queue line.
If you’ve been on POTC at all over the past couple months, then you have noticed the work being done throughout the queue. Many are expecting perhaps some kind of interactive queue updates to go in or something related to all the other upgrades going on throughout Disney. A one-day closure could allow for any final touches to be put into their updates and complete things.
Pictures will surely be coming with anything new that is put in.
