So, remember the 3-D statues/figures you could buy of yourself at the Carbon-Freezing Chamber for Star Wars Weekends? Well, the Walt Disney World Resort is now offering up that same type of technology but for the Disney Princesses as of August 26, 2012.
D-Tech Me is going to start a new interactive experience at the World of Disney at Downtown Disney that will allow guests ages 3-12 to have their likeness placed on a three-dimensional seven-inch Disney Princess figurine.
In otherwords, little girls can get become their own Disney Princess figurine for a limited time and at a cost of $99.95 (includes $15.95 shipping). No discounts are offered.
The 10-minute experience will include several cameras and capture different angles of each young guest’s face. Each “princess in waiting” can then choose to be one of seven Disney Princesses:
- Tiana
- Rapunzel
- Cinderella
- Snow White
- Aurora
- Ariel
- Belle
The skin, hair, and eye color of the figurine won’t be that of the Disney Princesses, but will be customized to match that of the guest themselves. Included with the figurine is a Princess silver link necklace with the guest’s choice of colored gem charm on it.
Once purchased, the figuring will be shipped to the guest’s home within five to six weeks. Pricing again is as follows:
- 7-inch figurine: $99.95 (includes $15.95 shipping)
- Additional 7-inch figurines: $74.95 each
- 3-inch replicas: $39.95 each
- Canada/International shipping: Starts at $75.00
