Pirates of the Caribbean at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is set to close for a one-day (tentative) refurbishment on October 9, 2012. Many are expecting this quick shutdown to happen so that completion of the queue line refurbishment can be completed.
It isn’t exactly confirmed what is being done to the Pirates’ line, but many expect interactive features to be put in. So far, there have been a few refurb walls put up and already taken down in some locations. Now, near the end of both lines, guests can see through to the line on the opposite side. There is also a fully open area to see into the attraction loading area where there used to be a solid wall.
Below are a few pics of how things look so far.
