Walt Disney World Railroad to have long refurbishment at end of summer

Walt Disney World is already preparing the end of the summer rush to be a time of fixing things up. The Walt Disney World Railroad at Magic Kingdom is going to undergo an almost month-long refurbishment…so organize your trips accordingly.

The refurbishment officially begins on Sept. 30, 2013. The WDWR is tentatively scheduled to reopen on Oct. 21, 2013.

It has been reported that Disney has had permits filed for two bridges somewhere along the route around the Magic Kingdom.

This makes two huge attractions going down for a long time this fall as Peter Pan’s Flight will be out of commission for over a month starting at the end of Sept. as well.
