D23 Expo brings the Hatbox Ghost to life as new Audio-Animatronic

The D23 Expo out in Anaheim, CA, began on Friday, Aug. 9, 2013, and there was a ton of great info that came out. Check out the links at the bottom of this page.

But one of the biggest things was seen at the media preview of the Disney Parks and Resorts pavilion on Thursday, and it was the reemergence of the Hatbox Ghost from the Haunted Mansion.

Walt Disney Imagineers used some of the newest Audio-Animatronic technology to create the Hatbox Ghost, and for a Haunted Mansion as big as I am, it…is…beautiful!

If only he could be brought back to life in the Haunted Mansion yet again, but many have thought that would never happen. Well, this goes to show you that there could be a chance.

For those that don’t know who the Hatbox Ghost is, there will be a new edition of “Doctor Disney Explains” coming on Monday morning to let you know exactly who he is.
