Splash Mountain is always down and getting a refurbishment every single year, and 2014 is not going to be any different. The annual refurb for one of Magic Kingdom’s mountains is now on the schedule.
Beginning on Jan. 6, 2014, Splash Mountain will be down for refurbishment through Jan. 31, 2014.
It is tentatively scheduled to reopen for guests on Feb. 1, 2014. Remember though, things do change and this is subject to do so at any time.
