One of the most popular, and delicious, restaurants in all of the Magic Kingdom will be getting a refurbishment in early 2014. Those traveling at the beginning of the year may end up disappointed because Casey’s Corner will be closed for over a month.
Casey’s Corner is scheduled to close on Jan. 6, 2014, and not reopen until Feb. 16, 2014.
Remember, dates are tentative and can change at any time. So it is not entirely a certainty that Casey’s will finish its refurbishment on Feb. 15, 2014, and then reopen the next day. Sometimes, things end up taking longer and the refurbishment may need to be extended or it could end up being shortened.
Always be prepared and keep an eye out for date changes.
As is typical, Disney does a lot of their refurbishment work early in the year since it is one of the biggest down times. Main Street U.S.A. often gets a lot of work done at this time.
