Angelina Jole is going to star as the evil villain Maleficent in the film of the same name, and many have been waiting for a truly clear look of the star in character. Well, now it has arrived.
A new poster for Disney’s “Maleficent” has arrived and it shows that Angelina Jolie is embracing the evil depths of her #DisneySide.
Word is that the 38-year-old is so convincing in her role as Sleeping Beauty’s villain that she actually scared a number of children that came to the set.
“These little kids would visit the set, and I would think, ‘Oh, I am a Disney character,’ so I would go over to them, and say, ‘Hi there.’ They would just scream,” Jolie said.
Jolie’s children, Pax and Zahara, have small walk-on roles in the film, and five-year-old Vivienne plays young Princess Aurora. Elle Fanning will play Aurora as she grows up.
“Maleficent” will open in theaters in 3D on May 30, 2014.
