Yet another daytime parade at Walt Disney World is coming to an end. Mickey’s Jammin’ Jungle Parade at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will officially end its 12-year run this summer.
It originally debuted back on Oct. 1, 2001, and it is expected to cease sometime in June. Obviously, this means that the Christmas version – Mickey’s Jingle Jungle Parade – is done as well.
The parade will be ending to make way for the giant expansion for Disney’s Animal Kingdom that will include AVATAR Land and the new night light show as well.
A replacement parade is not planned at this time as Disney has also confirmed that a large portion of the parade viewing area will be removed during the construction.
This sux for us…this parade is by far our son’s favorite attraction/ride/event/….of everything he does.
