The past two years, Walt Disney World has had a 24-hour all-nighter for those that were willing to brave out a full day (and night) at the Magic Kingdom. Now, there is a rumor going around that there will be another one later in 2014.
A few sites and sources have started saying that due to the popularity of “One More Disney Day” and the “Monstrous Summer All-Nighter,” Disney is contemplating having a third 24-hour day this year.
Right now, the rumor is that it will happen on Memorial Day of this year. That date would be May 26, 2014.
This wouldn’t a bad idea because it would be on a Monday, and the crowds of Star Wars Weekends would be able to be avoided a little bit.
In 2012, the “One More Disney Day” took place on Feb. 29 and into Mar. 1 for the Leap Year. It was the big promotion for that year and the first time that Disney had ever done anything like that.
In 2013, the “Monstrous Summer All-Nighter” took place as part of the Limited Time Magic promotion, and was on May 24, 2013.
As for now, this is nothing but a rumor. Disney has not announced or confirmed this at all.
