The snow has played havoc with the Spring Breaks of a lot of schools and work places this year, and that has seen an influx of people hitting Walt Disney World at different times. That means they will need more hours to enjoy the parks.
Due to larger crowds than expected, Disney hours have been extended for two parks this week. As of now, here are the extended operating Disney hours for two parks.
- March 26 and 27, 2014 – Hours have been extended to 1:00 a.m. from the original closing time of midnight for both days
- Thursday, March 27, 2014 – Both morning and evening Disney hours have been extended by one hour each. The park will now be open from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. from the original hours of 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Friday, March 28, 2014 – Hours have now been extended one hour and the park will now close at 8:00 p.m. from the original closing time of 7:00 p.m.
As of now, these are the only dates and parks that have seen the Disney hours extended, but anything can happen. Usually, extended hours are only announced the “day of,” but Disney is already anticipating larger crowds the rest of this week.
