Disney’s ‘Frozen’ has top even more milestones as it continues to bring in the money at the box office. It has officially moved into the top 10 list of the biggest and highest grossing movies of all time.
With $1,072,402,000 at the worldwide box office as of March 30, 2014, it has now also become the highest grossing animated film of all time by surpassing “Toy Story 3.”
“Toy Story 3” had brought in $1,063,171,911 worldwide.
“Frozen” is the very first billion-dollar film for Walt Disney Animation Studios and it most recently won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature.
“Let It Go” also won the Academy Award for Best Original Song.
As it has moved on to home releases on March 18, 2014, it has become the faster-selling digital release ever as it shelled out 3.2 million Blu-ray/DVDs in its first day alone.
