The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train continues to inch closer to a yet unannounced soft opening and grand opening. Overnight, some more walls came down around the Storybook Circus side of the new Fantasyland attraction, and as of April 18, 2014, a lot more is visible.
Up until today, the Be Our Guest side of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train was really the only thing visible with walls down. Now, there have been some more drops, twists, and turns revealed with the new walls taken down.
Disney has not yet confirmed any dates other than that of the press preview happening at the end of April and into the first couple days of May. It has been confirmed that a soft opening will indeed happen, but a date it not put in place.
The same can be said for the grand opening.
So far, only Imagineers have been seen riding the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and no guests of any type.
One has to believe that when the day comes (which seems to be soon) and all of the walls are down, the attraction will be opening. Walls are always taken down only overnight and never while guests are in the park.
Some of the pics taken today do show a construction worker putting some finishing details on the sign over what looks to be the entrance. The walls were still up here so I got the best pics possible. The sign is on a corner pointing toward Cinderella Castle.
The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is a big part of the New Fantasyland expansion, and Disney is sure to have it up and running soon.
