Disney Opens Up Lots of FASTPass Times For Anna and Elsa at Princess Fairytale Hall

Anna and Elsa FASTPassOn Sunday, April 20, 2014, Anna and Elsa from Disney’s “Frozen” made their debut in Princess Fairytale Hall in the Magic Kingdom. Standby lines for the sisters grew in excess of four hours, and FASTPass+ reservations for them had been long gone. Well, Disney learned some things from their debut and have opened up a lot of FASTPass times for the meet-and-greet.

That’s right, if you’d like to get a FASTPass for the “Frozen” sisters, hop on your My Disney Experience account and get them now.

As of this morning, there were openings for April, May, and even into June.

The furthest out that anyone can make FASTPass+ reservations is 60 days prior to their arrival, and that is for Walt Disney World Resort guests. Others (Annual Passholders and Daily Guests) have a 30-day window in which they can make their FASTPass+ reservations.

It is highly recommended that you make these FASTPass reservations for Anna and Elsa, and make them as quickly as possible. Just because Disney released more doesn’t mean that they will always be there.

Just as the first round of FASTPass reservations went for Anna and Elsa, it is highly likely that these will do the same. This morning though, I was able to get reservations for times in May and June and even tomorrow through the rest of April.

Check your reservations and arrival dates and go into your My Disney Experience now to make yours.

  1. Question about fast pass and children under 3 who don’t have a ticket. I understand to just make the fastpass for me but what about my husband and other family who want to watch but not meet…can they just tag along or do they need fastpass too? THANKS!

    • Hi KS,

For children under three, they won’t need a FASTPass so they will just go right through into the line with you. As for others who are old enough to have MagicBands and need FASTPasses, they won’t be able to just go through unless they have a scheduled FP. If anyone is going to go into Princess Fairytale Hall – whether they meet Anna and Elsa or not – they will need to use a FASTPass selection for each person.

  2. I just reserved a FastPass for Anna and Elsa, but I was only able to get 1 and for our last day at WDW. I tried copying and it won’t let me. Do you think they’ll let my 5 year old go in with me? He’s who it is really for, but I obviously couldn’t schedule the FP for him alone because of his age.

  3. no more fastpasses for Anna and Elsa, i am a premium passholder and have checked everyday 30 days out, all booked, because i can only go 30 days out it appears i will never get a fastpass for these girls

I wasn’t able to jump on right at 60 days in advance … I’m at 58 days out – and Fastpasses for Anna & Elsa are gone. Do you think they’ll open up more? Are they even open yet or are they truly gone? We’re going the last week of August…Fastpasses were also already gone for Be Our Guest lunch. Its frustrating to feel “too late” for things, 2 months before we even arrive! Advice? Just arrive at rope drop or be willing to wait?

    • They’ve been released already and are open. If you don’t see them, they are gone. That’s why they have the 60-day mark, and that is when the majority of everyone gets on to get them so that is why they go so fast. People set reminders to get on at midnight for 60-day or 180-day mark to get their FP+ and Dining reservations. My only advice is to keep trying and wait to see if more open up. If not, try going at opening or very late.

      • I waited with my iPhone in-hand for midnight the day that I could start making FastPass+ reservations for our vacation in September. ALL of the Anna & Elsa passes were gone for each day of our vacation. I am still incredibly upset about this! If I am trying 60 days in advance to get a FastPass+ and fail to do so, then HOW is it even possible to get them?! I also tried the trick of just requesting one for myself as my daughter is only 1 year old, but that didn’t work either. I’m so angry.

Yes I had issues with my tickets or I would have been on at midnight as well, that was my plan. However! I was able to make reservations by getting 3 separate FP for my family members, with a common overlapping time, yay!
