It was announced a few weeks ago that Tinker Bell would be moving from Adventureland up to Town Square Theater on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom, and now there is a date set for new new location.
As of May 20, 2014, Tinker Bell will begin her meet-and-greet on Main Street U.S.A. at Town Square Theater.
Some have wondered how she would fit into the theme of her new location, but Disney has a plan.
The new location will be the new Garden Theater and guests will actually “shrink” down to the size of their favorite fairy. There, they will find a portal that will magically transport them to Tinker Bell’s Magical Nook, which used to be located in Adventureland.
The best thing about this move is that FASTPass+ will be available for Tinker Bell’s new meet-and-greet.
Unfortunately, she will be alone. Her fairy family and friends will not be joining her for this venture up to the front of the Magic Kingdom.
Mickey Mouse will be located in the room next to her and continue his meet-and-greets as well.
There has been no word as to what will be done with Tinker Bell’s old meet-and-greet location. Some rumors have been spread about extending Aloha Isle or putting in some new indoor seating, but those are far from confirmed.
