The Richard Petty Driving Experience at Walt Disney World is one that has thrilled adults for quite some time now, but it’s the moment for the kids to get in on the action too. Two vehicles from the “Cars” franchise are about to make their debut very soon and they are incredibly awesome.

Beginning on June 14, 2014, Aiken Axler and Sage VanDerSpin will make their ways around the track for the brand new Piston Cup Junior Ride-Along program.

The two “Cars”-themed…err, cars were created and designed by creative director Jay Ward.

The new Piston Cup Ride-Along program will be for children ages 6 to 13, and they must be at least 48 inches tall.

Upon getting into the program, kids will have the opportunity to experience real-life racing excitement by riding shotgun with a professional and experienced driving instructor. They will take three laps around the track in their specially equipped Piston Cup race car.

Checking out the pics above, Sage VanDerSpin is #80 and races for Team “Gask-its.” He’s the youngest winner of the Junior Cup Pro Series.

The cost for enjoying a ride in the “Cars”-themed cars is $59-$69 which varies by track.

The #28 car is Aiken Axler and he races for Nitroade. He was able to capture the Vitoline Rookie of the Year award during his first full season of racing competition.

Junior Ride-Alongs do not require reservations and are given on a first-come, first-served basis. Find more, visit Drivepetty.com or call 800-237-3889.
