Could Peter Pan’s Flight Finally Get Its Interactive Queue – Interesting Permit Filed by Disney

Peter Pan's Flight queuePeter Pan’s Flight in Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom has seen a few changes here and there since the new Tangled-themed area opened last year. Now, there could be even further refurbishments on the way for one  of Disney’s oldest attractions.

While there is no word on the attraction itself getting anything done, a new permit filed by Disney has been issued for the queue line to Peter Pan’s Flight.

Here is the actual name for it:

PP Queue Phase 1, 1450F Magic Kingdom Drive – Provide labor, material and/or electrical for construction

The address listed is for 1450F Magic Kingdom Drive, and that’s right on top of the Magic Kingdom. Obviously, the words “Queue Phase 1” means that it is going to be the queue line of some attraction.

While “PP” is just assumed as Peter Pan’s Flight, it does seem logical.

Once the Tangled-themed area opened, the restrooms between Peter Pan’s Flight and Columbia Harbour House were closed.

From there, a meet-and-greet location for Peter Pan was constructed at the end of the current queue line for Peter Pan’s Flight. Well, it was essentially a mural painted and some guide ropes put up, but it isn’t used a whole lot.

Rumors had swirled that Peter Pan’s Flight would end up getting an interactive queue after the success and popularity of those at Haunted Mansion, Dumbo, and others. All we can do now is wait and see.
