10 Disney Things We Wish Would Happen in the Real World

It’s pretty depressing to return home after vacationing at the most magical place on earth. Some people (even adults) cry (or sob) as the Magical Express takes them back to the airport. From there, it’s back to the mundane, daily grind of work or school. Here are ten Disney things that would make life just a bit more magical if incorporated into our regular, everyday lives:

1.  The two-fingered point – It’s just plain magical. If more people did the two-fingered point, society as a whole would be taken more seriously.

2. Disney-quality Guest Service – When families return home, they are often appalled that employees at Wal-Mart are not donning huge smiles, handing out stickers and waving with big Mickey gloves.

3. 4D movies – It’s definitely becoming more of a reality at some Imax theatres around the globe, but it’d be great if we could go to the movies with the expectation that water will squirt our faces, nasty smells will assault our nostrils and seats will jiggle our behinds during really intense action sequences.

4. FastPass+ everywhere – Because that ticketed number at the BMV still means nothing, and your Magic Band won’t work at the McDonald’s drive-thru.

5. Stacy narrating everyone’s Top 7 Must Sees – She magically appears on your WDW Resort Television by default every time you push the remote’s power button. What if Stacy could create your Top 7 everything? You’d never have to think for yourself again!

6. Actual Disney-quality buffets – Because Golden Corral is nasty. And Disney germs are just magically not as gross!

7.  Disney chlorinated water – Everyone wishes their pool smelled as good as the wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon, and all running water should be Pirates of the Caribbean scented.

8. Spanish safety announcements – What if your car told you, “Please stand clear of the doors. Por favor manténgase alejado de las puertas.” Perfection.

9. Wearing mouse ears – People apparently think it’s weird if you wear these out in public. If more people did the two-fingered point, the mouse ears would be acceptable. Just saying.

10. Mousekeeping – Upon returning to the real world, it can be quite a shock to people that their beds at home won’t be magically made each morning by clever little towel animals with googly sticker eyes.

These are just a few of the things that make Walt Disney World so magical and keep us coming back for more! What Disney things do you wish would happen in the real world?
