There are some great new treats to be had at the Magic Kingdom, and they are very similar to something from the past. Called “Creative Fries” by the Disney Parks Blog, these fries topped with all kinds of awesome toppings are very similar to the lost Figaro Fries and can now be yours.
At the Magic Kingdom, the fries are only available in one spot at this time and it is the Golden Oak Outpost in the back of Frontierland, next to Splash Mountain.
Not only are they fries topped with all kinds of awesomeness, but they are waffle fries and that makes them that much better.

As you can see, they are each $5.99, and quite filling, but not on the Disney Dining Plan.
You can get the:
~ Brown Gravy and Cheese Waffle Fries – Topped with Brown Gravy and White Cheddar
~ BLT Waffle Fries – Topped with Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, and Ranch Dressing
These are actually about as close as you can get to Figaro Fries without calling them that and getting them at Pinocchio’s Village Haus. All that’s really missing is the melted cheese.
~ Barbecue Pork Waffle Fries – Topped with Barbecue Pork and Coleslaw
~ Tex-Mex Waffle Fries – Topped with Black Bean Cucumber Relish, warm Cheddar, and Slice Jalapeno
For another option, that is on the Disney Dining Plan, there are Sweet Potato Nuggets topped with Powdered Sugar for just $2.99.
Have to say that these new options are great snacks, but enough to make a filling meal as well.
According to the menu, it does appear as if the spicy chicken sandwich and the chicken breast nuggets have been taken off the menu. I’ll have to go back and see if they moved into Pecos Bill’s or somewhere else.
