There are a couple of reports coming out of Magic Kingdom that there was an evacuation at The Plaza Restaurant this evening, Sept. 27, 2014, and Guests were being told there had been a fire.
Doctor Disney reader Jennifer alerted me to this situation around 9:30 p.m. and stated:
“My friend is at Magic Kingdom right now and he said that he was at the Plaza dining and the manager told them to get out now because there was a fire.”
Checking with a few sources of mine, I’ve gotten word that something has happened ans is going on, but am getting conflicting reports as to what the reasoning behind the evacuation of the Plaza is. Some are saying it was due to the fire, but others are saying that it was merely a precautionary measure and they are waiting for the all-clear.
I’m still trying to get more information on the Plaza situation at Magic Kingdom, and as soon as I do, I’ll pass it along.
Earlier this month, there was a situation similar to that tat the Plaza and it was over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge where the resort was evacuated due to a fire.
Hopefully, there will be more info soon on what’s going on over at the Plaza and that everyone and everything is alright.
