Throughout the year, there have been a number of unique MagicBands making their way onto the store shelves at Walt Disney World, and now there are more coming your way. For the Christmas season, there will be at least two new ones for guests to purchase.
Those MagicBands will be of Mickey and Minnie together and another of Olaf.
UPDATE: Make sure to check out two other new MagicBands coming for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and “Big Hero 6.”
As told to me this morning by source of mine, the Christmas MagicBand featuring Mickey and Minnie is set to be released on Nov. 1, 2014. Now, my source told me that he has heard it would be available to all guests and not just for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
It should also be known that this MagicBand will not be limited to a certain number, but will only be available for a limited amount of time. The Christmas MagicBand will be priced at $24.95 and available at the four Walt Disney World theme parks and Downtown Disney.
Now, there is another MagicBand coming and it will be a limited edition for the holidays. MagicBandCollectors revealed that a new Frozen MagicBand featuring Olaf is set to be released at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Nov. 3, 2014.
The band is going to be a limited edition of 5,000. It will make unique sounds and lights at FASTPass+ touch-points and priced around $29.95.
The Mickey and Minnie Christmas MagicBands are not expected to make unique noises and lights.

How do purchasing the magic bands work? Because they send you magic bands in the mail before you go. So, when you get to the park, you can buy a special one? And, then do they transfer at the counter or something? Is there a way you can order a special one from the get-go?
You cannot order the special bands to be sent to you. They must be purchased at the Walt Disney World Resort and Cast Members automatically link them to your account or you can do so.
